PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the operation for recording data. SOLUTION: A recording section 2 has plural usable recording systems and records prescribed data to prescribed recording medium by one among the plural recording systems. A control section 6 sets the recording system by using the information relating to the data already recorded on the recording medium which is a recording destination of the data. More specifically, the control section 6 counts the number of the data recorded by the same recording system relating to the data already recorded on the recording medium which is the recording destination of the data and detects the recording system of the largest number of the data. The control section 6 controls the recording section 2 and records the prescribed data to the recording section 2 by the recording system of the largest number of the detected data.
