PURPOSE: A circulating device of water softener is provided, which can pre-filter by pre-filters set at inlet to remove relatively large foreign matter and achieve uniform ion exchange by flowing upward in the inner pipes, the reducing pipes, to enhance ion exchange function. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises two twin vertical ion exchange vessels(40,42) made of double pipe having inner reducing pipes(30,32), in the annular of which ion exchange resin(50,52) is filled and covered with perforated plates(70,72). Raw water fed through raw water inlets(130,132) flow through pre-filters(90,92) and raw water inlets(40a,42a) to smaller pipes(30a,32a) set inside the bottom of inner pipe(30c,32c), the reducing pipe, between the smaller pipe(30a,32a) and inner pipe(30c,32c) slots are formed to allow water flowing through the ion exchange resin(50,52) to be sucked into the inner pipe(30c,32c) and to circulate. Water overflowing from the top part to resin layer come down through pipes installed outside the device to common converting valves(130,132) then to knob(120) to user.
