PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable radio communication terminal which prevents a noise interference to a recording/reproducing operation when a radio communication function is operated and to provide a control method. SOLUTION: The portable radio communication terminal is provided with the radio communication function and a music recording/reproducing function. When the music recording/reproducing function is selected by a user or the like, whether the radio communication function is stopped or not is judged. On the basis of this judgment result, the radio communication function is controlled so as to be made effective or so as to be stopped. Concretely, when the recording/reproducing function is operated, transmission power from the portable radio communication terminal is lowered by a prescribed value, and the noise interference to the recording/reproducing function is prevented. |
