摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle light improved in efficiency of using light emitted from a light source in composing beams passing each other by simple constitution. SOLUTION: This vehicle light 10 is provided with an elliptic reflecting surface 12 taking the vicinity of the light source 11 as a first focal point, and a paraboloidal reflecting surface 13 taking the vicinity of a second focal point of the elliptic reflecting surface 12 as the focal point position. The light 10 for a vehicle is provided with a first reflecting plate 13 for reflecting the light reflected by the elliptic reflecting surface to direct the vicinity of the second focal point to be guided to the vicinity of the focal point of the paraboloidal reflecting surface, a second reflecting plate 14 disposed substantially vertically with the lower edge positioned near the focal point of the paraboloidal reflecting surface and having the reflecting surface on the light source side, and a second paraboloidal reflecting surface 16 taking the vicinity of the light source as the focal point position. A part of the elliptic reflecting surface is formed as retractile separate movable reflecting surface 12a, and when the movable reflecting surface moves backward, the light from the light source is guided to the second paraboloidal reflecting surface through the retracted area.
