<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a control system by which the state of a device to be displayed/operated by a control display device is collectively recognized or controlled through the use of terminal equipment which is arranged in a place separated from the control display device such as a programmable display unit without plotting a new display picture. SOLUTION: An open server device 4 performs transmission to a client device 5 concerning an HTML file and an XML file which are generated based on screen data for specifying the operation of the programmable display unit 14 when the unit 14 obtains and displays the state of a device 11a and concerning an applet to be operated by being referred to the HTML file and by referring to the XML file. When the applet is performed, the client device 5 divides its own display screen into a plurality of areas, inquires the state of the device, which is indicated by respectively corresponding screen data, with respect to the respective areas to the open server device 4 and displays the screen in accordance with the response.</p> |
