PURPOSE: A casino chip having a tag circuit therein and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent the casino chip from being stolen by accommodating the tag circuit in the casino chip. CONSTITUTION: Preliminary molded members(10) are coupled to each other. A toothed portion including concave-convex parts is formed at a circumferential portion of the preliminary molded members(10). A cylindrical concave portion(19) provided at the concave parts and an outer portion is covered with a plastic having a different color when an insert molding process is carried out. A protrusion(16) is formed at one preliminary molded member(10) and a hole is formed at the other preliminary molded member so as to couple the preliminary molded members to each other. At least two holes and protrusions(16) are preferably provided. A tag circuit is inserted into a recess portion(18) arranged adjacent to a circumferential portion of the preliminary molded members(10).
