PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semantic information network in which an end user can specify optimum information among vast amounts of information distributed on the network and an information provider can specify an optimum user to whom the information provider should distribute information. SOLUTION: This semantic information network for distributing an event composed of semantic information and data is provided with a distribution destination deciding means for deciding the distribution destination of the event on the basis of the contents of the semantic information and an event distributing means for distributing the event to the distribution destination decided by the distribution destination deciding means.
