PURPOSE: A credit card approval system using an Internet exclusive line and a card terminal are provided to enhance the processing speed of approval with low cost as well as a stable approval process by using a fast and cheap Internet exclusive line. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises steps of a card terminal(10) transmitting the card information to a connection server(31) of system management company(30) by using an Internet exclusive network(20), an approval server(32) of system management company transmitting an approval request signal with the card information to a card company(40) according to the kinds of card, receiving the card management information including an approval number and the information of steal or lost from the card company requesting an approval, providing the received card management information to the card terminal and outputting the result through the printer. The card terminal is equipped with a LAN card and is able to use an Internet exclusive network such as ADSL(Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line).
