PURPOSE: A web-based information sales method is provided to make an information provider present a price and to competitively offer the information requested by a buyer. CONSTITUTION: A forward web-based information selling method comprises steps of an information provider presenting a price and a reliability grade of recognizable information constituted of characters, images and sounds, presenting brief information about the recognizable information(40), offering the information to a buyer paying the cost(42), receiving the degree of satisfaction from the buyer(43), and maintaining or correcting the price of the information based on the degree of satisfaction(44). A reverse web-based information selling method comprises steps of a buyer requesting for information, presenting the price of brief information and the total information, selecting information by referring to brief information and price, receiving the selected information and transmitting the information about the degree of satisfaction to an information provider, and maintaining or correcting the reliability grade of the information provider.
