Forceps (1; 1', 11; 11') for medical use, in particular for use in orthodontics and dentistry, including a mirror or reflective surface (5; 5'; 15; 15') preferably placed at the opposite end (4; 4'; 14; 14') of the forceps in respect to the points (3; 3'; 13; 13'). This particular design allows the forceps to be rotated by 180 DEG in order to use the mirror, without having to put them down. Moreover, the forceps may be provided with notches on the external side of at least one of its points, so as to perform the function of a boone gauge as well.
