PURPOSE: Vice pliers are provided to obtain improved operational efficiency and convenience by clamping a working object irrespective of size of the working object while freely controlling distance according to angle variance. CONSTITUTION: Vice pliers include a first grip(20), a second grip(30), a release lever(40) in the second grip, a first/second jaw, and an engaging portion(10) with a fixed portion(11) and a movable portion(12). On one side of the second grip is engaged a plate member(60) by a rivet(A). A semi circular protrusion(61) is formed on a middle portion of the member, and three grooves are formed on one end of the member. A tension spring(65) is connected to the first groove on its one side and a recess(15) formed on the second jaw on its the other side. A plate(70) with a fixed pin(71) and a distance-control pin(72) is coupled to the second groove(63) by a rivet. A guide plate(75) is slidingly installed on the plate. On the guide plate is installed a distance controlling device(100) consisting of a fixing device(80) and a housing(90).
