A container (1) for filling with e.g. groceries and for delivery is made of low density polyethylene plastics material and has a closure panel and four trays (4), one which has a thermally insulating liner (6) and two eutectic plates (9) to maintain frozen foodstuffs in the tray. Container (1) is secur ed against locking station (16) at a domestic residence. Key (40) operates to release container (1) from docking station (16) but key (41) does not releas e container (1) until key (40) has been used to open it and it is locked again .
