The closure mechanism (16) has a guide (3) for reception of the sliding bolt (1) of the lock in the pre-closed position and a locking device (9) which secures the sliding bolt in the pre-locking position for preventing its retraction. The actual position of the sliding bolt is detected via an electrical switch (4), a second electrical switch (7) detecting the position of the locking device, both switches operated mechanically by the monitored part and coupled to an electrical control unit (8) with a first output coupled to the operating magnet (10) for the locking device and to a display (13).
