PURPOSE: Provided is a method for removing rubber material from a waste roller coated with rubber material, whereby it is possible to recycle the rubber material as fuel and the metallic material as resources. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a waste roller fixing part(1) for fixing and rotating a waste roller, a moving cutter part(2) which travels over the outer surface of the waste roller in a longitudinal direction of the waste roller, and a circumference cutting part(3) for cutting the circumference of the waste roller. The waste roller fixing part(1) is provided with a main body(10) and a pair of beds(11). At both side ends of the beds(11), heads(13,13a) having chucks(12) for fixing the roller shaft are provided. One head(13a) at one side end is connected to transportation cylinders(14,15). The moving cutter part(2) includes a pair of lifting platform(20, 20a) disposed over the main body(10) by ascending cylinders(21) between the beds(11). On the rail in the roller lifting platform(20,20a), a bundle of cutter blades(23) which is connected to a cutting blade cylinder transporting cylinder(24) through a vertical hem is provided. The bundle of cutter blades(23) is connected to the bottom to the lifting cylinder. The circumference cutting part includes a circumference cutting platform(31) traveling right and left over the bed(30) in the rear of the main body(10) and a cutting blade(31) disposed on the cutting platform(31).
