<p>First and second sets consisting of a first rotary disk and first support disk, and a second rotary disk and second support disk, each disk having one surface formed in streamline concavo-convex shape, are arranged coaxially with a rotary shaft body within a casing with the concavo-convex surfaces opposed to each other. The first rotary disk is integral with the rotary shaft body, while the first support disk is nonrotatable with respect to the rotary shaft body but axially movable. The second rotary disk is rotatable integrally with the rotary shaft and is movable axially of the rotary shaft body, while the second support disk is nonrotatable but axially movable with respect to the rotary shaft body. As the rotary shaft body rotates, a pair of volume-variable chambers are alternately defined between concavo-convex surfaces in two sets. The first chamber is provide with a fuel feed port and the second chamber is provided with an exhaust port, and installed between the first and second chambers are a compression communication passageway and a gas reservoir combustion chamber communicating therewith.</p> |
