PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material having suitability to rapid processing, little in color remaining contamination and a cold black tone as a silver tone. SOLUTION: In the silver halide photographic sensitive material with silver halide emulsion layers on at least one side of the base, an azaindene compound is contained by 5-530 mg per 1 mol silver halide and the average aspect ratio of silver halide grains contained in at least one of the silver halide emulsion layers is >=8. The sensitive material has been colored blue so as to ensure a visual transmission density (DV1) of >=0.18 and a blue transmission density (DB1) of <=0.07 after development.
