OPTICAL MEMORY REPRODUCTION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To prevent dust on memory carrier from giving adverse influence to reproduction by using a substrate having information surface thinner and clearer than the operating distance of a reproducing lens and radiating reproduction light from the other surface which does not have information surface. CONSTITUTION:This system comprises forming the substrate 33 of a memory carrier 31 having a bit string 32 with Pyrex glass of a diameter 30cm and a thickness 3 mm and focusing and radiating the laser light 36, which has been focused by a lens 35, to the bit string 32 from the substrate 33 side in order to read out the information having been recorded in the bit string. Since the reflectances at the 32-a part and bit part 32-b part of the memory carrier 31 differ, the reflected light produced by this is received in a photo detector 37 via half mirror 37 and affecting of floating dust having deposited on the memory carrier 31 on the reproduction of information will not occur and therefore, the reduction of noise and prevention of drop-out may be achieved.
