PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock nut which is safe and is very effectively prevented from loosening. SOLUTION: The nut is constituted of a lower nut, a middle nut and an upper nut. Around a bolt hole of one of the lower nut and middle nut, a projecting portion is disposed. An outer peripheral face of the projecting portion is tapered axially toward the other one of the lower nut and middle nut. The other one has a recess portion in which the projecting portion is fitted. One of the projecting portion and recess portion is eccentric from a shaft center of the bolt hole. Further, around a bolt hole of one of the middle nut and upper nut, a projecting portion, is disposed. An outer peripheral face of the projecting portion is tapered axially toward the other one of the lower nut and upper nut. The other one has a recess portion in which the projecting portion is fitted. One of the projecting portion and recess portion is eccentric from the shaft center of the bolt hole.
