PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a shampoo good in foaming, having soft foam quality and readily moving fingers during shampooing. SOLUTION: This shampoo is composed by formulating diethylene glycol ethyl ether with a foaming detergent composed of at least one kind of an anionic surfactant, an amphoteric surfactant, a nonionic surfactant, etc. The amount of the formulated diethylene glycol ethyl ether is preferably 0.5-10 wt.%.
