<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming images by which stable electrification properties can be always maintained without causing any electrification failure (image defects) due to contamination of an electrifying member in a contact electrification system and to provide a toner for image formation to be used for the above method for forming images. SOLUTION: The toner has toner particles containing at least polyester resin, a coloring agent and wax and has a fluidizing agent externally added to the toner particles. In the molecular weight distribution of the toner by GPC of the THF-soluble component, the toner has the main peak in the region from 2,000 to 60,000 molecular weight and a subpeak or shoulder in the region of >=150,000. The endothermic curve in the DSC chart of the toner obtained with a differential scanning calorimeter(DSC) shows the maximum endothermic peak in the temperature region of >=70 deg.C and <120 deg.C. The toner has 0.93 to 0.97 average circularity in the circularity distribution of the particles measured with a flow type particle image analyzer.</p> |
