PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly mix air with rich mixture in a combustion chamber for a two-cycle internal combustion engine equipped with a cylinder, an exhaust opening provided on one side of the peripheral direction of the cylinder, plural scavenging openings located symmetrically right and left with respect to a surface containing the exhaust opening and a center line of the cylinder for conducting Schnurle scavenging, a chamber disposed adjacently to the cylinder, a communication passage communicating with the cylinder and the chamber and having a cylinder side opening on the opposite side from the exhaust opening with respect to the center line of the cylinder, and a control valve for controlling opening and closing of the communication passage so as to spray the rich mixture from the cylinder side opening of the communication passage to the combustion chamber by high compressed gas stored in the chamber. SOLUTION: A flow passage wall of the communication passage on the cylinder side is tilted to the surface containing the exhaust opening and, the center line of the cylinder so that the spray of the rich mixture is deflected to at least one of the right or left side.
