PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector cleaning device that can easily surely clean the end face of ferrule of an optical connector with a guide pin attached and that can also be used for a conventional type optical connector with no guide pin attached. SOLUTION: In the cleaning device, a cleaning tape 20 stretched between reels loaded on the feeding and winding sides in a case is successively delivered to an opening formed in the case, thereby the end face of the ferrule 81 of the optical connector 80 is cleaned with the new face of the cleaning tape 20. This cleaning device is characterized by the arrangement, at the opening, of a projected tape guide 30a which is situated under the cleaning tape 20 along its winding direction and which is erected higher than the length of the guide pins 83, 83 attached to the end face of the ferrule 81 of the optical connector 80.
