PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder distribution device of a simple distribution structure of easy maintenance and control, easily automated, securing distribution, and reducing cost. SOLUTION: A slide damper plate 2 which slides in parallel to a powder flow-down direction is disposed to a discharge port of a discharge distribution chute 10. By sliding the slide damper plate 2, opening of the discharge port 11 is changed to adjust distribution quantity between a part of powder 50 to straight flow down from the discharge distribution chute 10 and a part to be discharged from the discharge port 11, so that distribution quantity of the powder 50 can be properly adjusted by only adjusting slide quantity of the slide damper plate 2 to be easily automated. Since sliding of the slide damper plate 2 is the only action following opening and closing of the discharge port 11, a drive means 3 of the slide damper plate 2 can be efficiently actuated, and necessary force for the action can be restricted small. The drive means 3 can thus be compact, and cost can be reduced.
