摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a well-known method so that DIB may be produced from a flow comprising i-butene, 1-/2-butene and butane in high conversion and high selectivity. SOLUTION: This method for producing the DIB from i-butene-containing 4C raffinate I comprises passing the 4C flow through the first hydrogenation isomerization reactor (A) and a fractionation column to separate 1-butene and 2-butene, and dimerizing the residue of the separation by an acidic catalyst mounted on a reaction column (E). The feed flow to the reaction column (E) contains not only the i-butene but also the butane, and the reaction temperature in a fixed bed is freely controlled by the removal of the heat of the reaction. The side stream in the fractionation column (B) can be further subjected to the hydrogenation isomerization in the reactor (C).
