PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preserving and treating a corpse, capable of controlling decomposition of a corpse by a simple operation, preventing emission of an offensive smell, finely maintaining an appearance of a corpse, stopping leakage of body fluid such as blood, etc., and preventing an accident of operator from infection. SOLUTION: This method for preserving and treating a corpse comprises a wiping and cleaning process for wiping and cleaning the face, the neck and the ear parts of a corpse with an antimicrobial deodorant absorbing material containing a glycine-based surfactant, a body fluid leakage part wiping and cleaning process for wiping the body fluid leakage part in the corpse with an antimicrobial deodorant absorbing material containing chlorine dioxide, a process for arranging a chlorine dioxide absorbing material containing chlorine dioxide under the head and on the stomach of the corpse and laying the corpse in a coffin and a chlorine dioxide gas generation process for arranging a chlorine dioxide gas generation agent for generating a chlorine dioxide gas in the coffin and generating a chlorine dioxide gas. |
