PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flatten a surface, to obtain a base for a diffuse reflection surface and to obtain the diffuse reflection surface with an excellent utilization factor of external light only by coating the surface with a base material containing micro spherical bodies without using a complicated process. SOLUTION: A substrate 1 is coated with the base material 2 with the micro spherical bodies 3. A metallic thin film 4 is formed thereon and is made a diffuse reflection surface. The metallic thin film is also able to serve as an electrode. Furthermore, the metallic thin film can be used in combination with an active matrix mode, etc., (a TFT or MIM(thin film transistor or metal- insulator-metal) element, etc.). |
