PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic transfer sheet in which image defects due to squeezing out of a transparent resin layer consisting of thermoplastic resin from the end part of the electrophotographic transfer sheet can be prevented without requiring complicated processes and cost, and to provide a color image forming apparatus which uses the above sheet. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic transfer sheet having an image accepting layer containing thermoplastic resin as the main component on one surface of a substrate, the cut face on at least one end face is formed to make <=75 deg. angle from the back face of the electrophotographic transfer sheet.
