PURPOSE: A carrier for a spare tire is provided to improve workability by installing a large spare tire through conveniently releasing or attaching the tire. CONSTITUTION: A carrier of a spare tire comprises a frame(1) mounted on a lower portion of a chassis floor; a carrier installed on the frame; a double mounting bracket(2) arranged on the frame; a fixing but(3) mounted in the middle of the mounting bracket; a bolt(5) moving along a guide nut(4) by the fixing nut; an attaching plate(8) engaged with a hinge pin(7) through a U joint(6); a rotational plate(10) connected to the attaching plate through a ball bearing(11); and a tire combining bolt(9) contained in the rotational plate. The hinge shaft connects the guide nut of the mounting bracket to the attaching plate. Thereby, the carrier of the spare tire improves workability by installing a large spare tire through conveniently releasing or attaching the tire.
