PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new air curtain device which can provide such a pressure distribution that can almost evenly blow out high-pressure air over a wide width. SOLUTION: This air curtain device has a double structure composed of an outer cylindrical body 12 having a high-pressure air introducing end section 12A at one end and a closed section 12B at the other end and an inner cylindrical body 14 which is arranged in the body 12 and has opened both ends. The outer cylindrical body 12 has a series of blowing nozzles 16 intermittently or continuously formed along one side face and the inner cylindrical body 14 has a series of orifices 18 intermittently formed along one side face. The blowing nozzles 16 of the outer cylindrical body 12 and the orifices 18 of the inner cylindrical body 14 are positioned in such a cross relationship that the air discharged from the orifices 18 is blown out from the blowing nozzles 16 after flowing along the internal surface of the outer cylindrical body 12. |
