PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective liquid for plant, diluted solution of the same, protective material for plant and protective tape for plant capable of protecting plant such as farm products or the like from noxious insects and noxious microorganisms and harmless to the environment, humans and animals. SOLUTION: This protective liquid for plant includes neem-oil, a nonionic surfactant and a water-soluble derivative of chitin. The diluted solution of the same is obtained by diluting the protective liquid for plant with water. The protective material for plant obtained by impregnating or coating the protective liquid for plant or diluted solution of the same to a holding material. The protective tape for plant obtained by impregnating or coating the protective liquid for plant or diluted solution of the same to a holding tape.
