<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pattern an insulating layer consisting of polyimide at a simple step and to easily obtain the insulating layer having a normal tapered shape being the desired section. SOLUTION: This display device has a first electrode formed on a substrate, the insulating layer formed on the first electrode so that the first electrode can be exposed partially and a second electrode formed oppositely to the first electrode. The insulating layer is constituted of positive type photosensitive polyimide.</p> |
