ANCHOR STRAP INSPECTING METHOD IN DOUBLE SHELL TANK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anchor strap inspecting method in a double shell tank, capable of easily estimating the soundness of an anchor strap without opening the tank. SOLUTION: The anchor strap 20 supporting an inner tank 14 of the double shell tank 1 is vibrated from a lower end exposed portion thereof by a vibrator 51. The generated vibrations are detected by a vibration detector 52, and compared with reference data stored in a memory device 53 by an analyzing device 54, thereby estimating the stress of the anchor strap.
