PURPOSE: A call forwarding method in a mobile communication system is provided to answer the telephone called to a user's own cellular phone at an other place in case that a user puts the cellular phone in a car or home and moves the other place, or the battery of the cellular phone is completely discharged and the cellular phone is not used. CONSTITUTION: If a response does not exists during a designated time(203), a voice mail box function is operated(204). If a call forwarding service is requested(205), a mobile communication subscriber control device transmits a voice guide for inputting a password to a random subscriber A and waits until the password is inputted(206). If the password is inputted, the mobile communication subscriber control device compares the inputted password with a predetermined password and transmits a guide message for inputting a call forwarding telephone number and a specific number for indicating the input completion of the call forwarding telephone number to the random subscriber A (207). The mobile communication subscriber control device waits until the specific number is inputted(208). The mobile communication subscriber control device checks whether the specific number is inputted(209). If the specific number is inputted, the mobile communication subscriber control device registers the inputted call forwarding telephone number(210) and sets a mobile call forwarding function(211).
