PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building cover for hydraulic shovel constituted so as to facilitate the maintenance and inspection of the drive unit of a circulating device. SOLUTION: The building cover 10 on the upper part of the circulating device is set lower than the building cover 9 of a revolving superstructure. An operator 13 or the like can easily reach the drive unit 2 of the revolving superstructure by stretching out the hand to the drive device 2 on the housing cover 10 as a foothold.
