<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of eliminating the faulty attraction of recording material to a transfer belt and preventing the deterioration of a transfer member caused by the unevenness of surface free energy on the inner surface of the transfer belt and preventing an image defect because of the deterioration thereof. SOLUTION: In this image forming device, a recording material carrying means for carrying the recording material on a recording material carrier has an electrifying pressing member for applying charge while holding the recording material in such pressure distribution that pressure is higher at a center part than at an end.</p> |
