PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that water purifying device by a photocatalyst is generally liable to become a big scale owing to obtain a surface area of the catalyst. SOLUTION: The photocatalysts arranged in the cizcumference of an UV ray lamp and exhibiting water purifying and sterilizing effects with irradiation of UV rays, are housed in a catalyst housing tool longitudinally or housed in a joining state, and UV rays passed through a space of the photocatalysts are reflected with an outer cylinder, then an area of the photocatalysts irradiated with the UV rays is increased, and a photochemical reaction is accelerated, thus high performance of water purifying effect is obtained with a miniaturized device.
