PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording medium capable of recording from a distal end of standard-size paper to is rear end substantially without margin normally generated at both ends of the standard-size paper and recording without reducing an image quality. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording medium comprises a guide sheet 23 having a length obtained by adding a length of a length or more from a center of a nozzle disposed at a rear end of a recording head to a center of a paper feeding roll and a length of a length or more from a center of the nozzle disposed at a distal end of the read to a center of a delivering roll to a length of the standard-size paper 21 and including guide parts 22 and 22' at its distal end and its rear end, and the standard-size paper 21 adhered thereonto with an adhesive.
