PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove offset components generated in A/D converters provided at every channel in ultrasonic diagnostic equipment provided with a digital beam former(DBF). SOLUTION: In a state where offset correcting circuits 16 are provided at every channel and the inputs of the A/D converters 14 are grounded, an offset component is specified by averaging the outputs of the converters 14 and a subtracter 30 subtracts the offset component from received signals. It is also possible to adjust the reference voltages of the converters 14 by utilizing the offset component.
