PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a histamine producing animal having an exogenous hista mine synthetase HD in its chromosome. SOLUTION: This highly histamine producing animal is a non-human animal and its progeny obtained by performing an ontogenesis of a totipotential cell incorporated with a polynucleotide encoding a histidine-decarbonizing enzyme, and characterized by holding the above polynucleotide in its chromosome and producing histamine in a high level in its body cells.
