The vehicle (1) for carrying out maintenance work on sports fields, game pitches and parks comprises a frame provided with a front wheel (2), two rear wheels (4a,4b), drive equipment (5), a steering device (3) and a seat (6) for an operator. A coupling unit comprising a framework (7) is provided with four tapped holes (8a,8b,8c,8d) to which a maintenance device can be fixed with the aid of four bolts. The drive equipment is an electric motor coupled by a chain or belt with the rear wheels and is powered by a battery placed behind the driver seat. The maintenance equipment is preferably a spraying device or a lining device, with a distributor unit just behind the driver seat. The driver seat is exactly behind the front wheel. It is also possible for a grass mowing device to be coupled to the vehicle, and one for spraying fertilizer.
