<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent uneven elongation on the outlet side, meandering and offset of a material to be rolled which are apt to arise in controlling simultaneous reduction during rolling. SOLUTION: When the simultaneous reduction is performed in a rolling mill, the amount of correction for simultaneous reduction which is beforehand determined by measuring property difference between mill rigidities on the work side and the drive side is added. Or, manipulated variables of reduction on the work side and the drive side are discriminated in compliance with the optimum simultaneous reduction pattern from a zero adjusting position on each side.</p> |
