PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner to be used at general home, which utilizes exhaust air current from an electric blower for cleaning. SOLUTION: The cleaner is provided with a main body 17 incorporating a dust collecting chamber 19 and the electric blower 20, a suction passage 32 for guiding dust to the chamber 19, a hose 36 for guiding exhaust air for blowing the exhaust air 24 from the blower 20 to a surface to be cleaned 41 and a suction tool provided with a suction port and an exhaustion port integrally. The passage 32 and the hose 32 are connected attachably and detachably to/from the tool 31 to form a circulating passage, many ventholes 44 are formed at an inner hose 43 constituting the hose 36, the outer peripheral surface of the hose 43 is covered with an air-permeable nonwoven fabric 45 the outer periphery of which is covered with a hose cover 46 made of an air-impermeable material having many ventholes 47, and exhaust air passed through the inside of the hose 36 is partially discharged to the outside of the cleaner from two kinds of the ventholes to realize noise reduction.
