PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically eliminate the inconvenience such as that a lid, is not properly closed as the result of the secular change of a clearance between the main body and the lid of a rice cooker. SOLUTION: In the rice cooker where the lid 3 is openably/closably fitted to the rice cooker main body 1 through a hinge pin 2, the hinge pin 2 is fitted to the lid 3 through pin holes 7 provided at bearing parts 6 and also fitted to hinge receiving parts 14 provided at the main body 1 with a margin for enabling moving forward and backward, coil springs 16 are interposed to the marginal space of the parts 14, and the dimentional change of the main body 1 and the lid 3 is cancelled by movement of the pins 2 resisting the springs 16.
