PURPOSE: A driving apparatus of LCD is provided to reduce a size of a module and a horizontal cross talk by using only one source driving IC in a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) LCD. CONSTITUTION: An RGB data splitter(11) is used for dividing R, G, and B data into signals applied to odd lines and signals applied to even lines. A gray voltage generation portion(12) outputs voltages of 2¬n+1 number in response to a PC input of n bits. A gate driving IC(13) is used for driving a gate line. A source driving IC(14) is used for driving a source line of an LCD panel(15) according to the data and the voltage from the RGB data splitter(11) and the gray voltage generation portion(12). The RGB data splitter(11) adds 0 to the (n+1)th bit of data for the odd lines and 1 to the (n+1)th bit of data for the even lines.
