PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print image information imaged by a digital camera to a variety of layout positions (printing positions and ranges) desired by an operator with only a considerably simple operation required of the operator. SOLUTION: A means (224) for storing layout information indicating printable positions and printing ranges is set inside a consumable material storing container (C100) for a printer. A means for receiving the information in cooperation with the means (224) and, displaying and processing a layout image indicating the printable position and the printing range (1602) based on the information to a display (A105) is set to the digital camera.
