PURPOSE: An inspection system of a panel for a cathode ray tube is provided to perform accurately the inspection of the panel by performing an automatic inspection process and a macroscopic inspection process. CONSTITUTION: An automatic inspection portion(20) inspects a panel for a cathode ray tube according to standards. A separation transferring portion(43) separates good products from products and transfers the good products on the basis of the inspecting result of the automatic inspection portion(20). A macroscopic inspection portion(35) divides revising products into good products and bad products by macrography. A good product transferring portion(41) transfers the good products from the separation transferring portion(43) to the next process. A revising product transferring portion(30) transfers the revising products to the macroscopic inspection portion(35). A revised good product transferring portion(40) transfers the good products from the macroscopic inspection portion(35) to the good product transferring portion(41).
