PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of constitution elements by eliminating a need for two check valves, to simplify structure, to enable reduction in a cost, and to prevent breakage of a compressor through prevention of the occurrence of flooding of refrigerator oil. SOLUTION: In a heat pump system provided with a plurality of compressors 1 and an oil separator 2 communicating with a plurality of the compressors 1, the oil separator 2 is caused to independently communicate with a plurality of the compressors 1 through a plurality of piping 11, and a plurality of demisters 41, serving as a separating means 4 to separate a refrigerant, interposing between a plurality of openings 21 communicating with a plurality of the piping 11 of the oil separator 2, and refrigerator oil from each other are disposed at the end parts of a plurality of inlet pipes 22 of which a plurality of openings 21 of the oil separator 21 consist.
