PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent early abrasion and seizure of slide surfaces to slide to get in contact in differential rotation of a differential gear mechanism. SOLUTION: A coating layer comprising diamond-like carbon or a coating layer comprising tungsten carbide carbon is formed on each tooth face of side gears 3A and 3B and pinion gears 5A and 5B, and each end face of the side gears 3A and 3B and washers 4A, 4B, and 4C.
