PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel allowed to be highly accurately assembled as to a zoom lens barrel having plural lens groups. SOLUTION: The zoom lens barrel 1 includes 1st to 3rd group frames 6 to 8 to be frame members for holding respective lens groups 41 to 43 allowed to be moved back and forth. The 1st to 3rd group frames 6 to 8 are directly connected with each other in the inner and outer peripheral parts in an accurately engaged state and a highly accurate center coincidence state of the lens groups 41 to 43 without requiring the existence of other members. In the case of directly sticking and fixing the lens groups 41 to 43 to respective lens holding frames, respective lens groups and respective lens holding frames are supported on prescribed positions by using the same lens assembling jig 30 to stick and fix the lens groups to the lens holding frames.
