PURPOSE: A device for preventing engine stall is provided to improve the safety while running by preventing the engine stall caused by intercepting LPG. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing engine stall is composed of an on/off sensor(50) for an LPG switch(20) diverged from the output circuit of the LPG switch and connected to an engine Electronic Control Unit(ECU); a vehicle speed sensing unit(70) transferring a vehicle speed signal sensed by a vehicle speed sensor(60) to the engine ECU; a relay operator(80) connected to the engine ECU; and a relay switch(90) connected to the LPG switch in parallel at a connective point(94) and respectively connected to a vehicle generator(10) and the relay operator at the input/output terminal of a coil(92).
